Norfolk Iron and Metal offers two computer-controlled lasers for clean cuts to exacting specifications. The Amada laser capable of cutting 24 gauge steel up to three-quarters of an inch thickness and the Tanaka laser features a 10- by 50-foot table and the ability to cut 20-gauge steel up to one-and-a-quarter inches thick. From the most intricate work, to heavy gauge cutting, both lasers offer a number of options for your design needs.

Amada Gemini Model 3015

Norfolk Iron and Metal operates the Amada laser, a high-speed flying optic laser cutter. Speed, acceleration and accuracy are only three of the features that makes the Amada like no other laser. The Amada laser moves over the steel for accurate cuts time after time increasing both our capacity and efficiency.

Tanaka LMX V 30 Laser

Norfolk Iron and Metal’s second laser is the Tanaka Laser. Our largest, most powerful laser can cut steel up to 1 1/4-inches thick. The primary feature that makes our Tanaka laser so versatile is it's extremely large bed size; it can cut product 10-feet wide and up to 50-feet in length. It can also be used as a shear, and a hole punch on steel material.
