Expanded Metal

Expanded metal is a product that has been cut and stretched to form a pattern of solid metal material. The most common pattern is diamonds, but circles and squares are also used. Expanded metal is lightweight, decorative, and is very strong since the piece is a solid sheet and is not cut or welded together. Flattened expanded metal is the result of a standard piece of expanded metal being put through a cold rolling steel mill. Making it thinner, flatter, and longer.
