Can anyone sign up for the NIM Customer Portal?
Yes. You will need to set up a customer profile and fill out a credit application before you can place an order, but you are able to view our extensive product line and submit a quote.

Is the portal going to replace my sales rep?
No. We still encourage you to contact your sales rep for any custom orders, large orders, or just to chat. The portal is meant to make the buying experience with NIM easy and efficient. You can now order anytime, anywhere.

Who should I contact for user support questions?
Please contact your ISR or OSR for portal support.

Which NIM products must be quoted and ordered through my sales rep.?
Coils, slit coils, custom processing, and large quantity orders will need to still be ordered through your sales rep.

Is there a portal app?
There currently is not a phone app for the portal.

Can I set receiving hours?
Yes. When you set up your customer profile, you will set your receiving hours.

Can I track my order?
Yes. If the order shipped on one of our trucks, you would receive live tracking updates. If it is shipped via common carrier, you will still be notified when it leaves the facility.

Do quotes expire?
Yes. Quotes will expire after 24 hours.

Is there an order minimum?
Yes. The portal will not allow orders less than the set minimum. You will still be able to add it to an order, but your order will not be fulfilled until your accumulative weight meets the minimum.

I’m on credit hold; can I still place an order?
Yes. You can still place an order; you will just be notified you are on credit hold and your order won’t process until that hold is released.
