Steel Structural channels are a type of hot rolled steel beams used mainly in building construction. The C-shape or U-shape consists of a cross section with a wide horizontal “web” and two flanges at the top and the bottom of the web. This shape configuration adds to the strength and stability of the angle when the load of the project is vertical or horizontal.
Channel can be welded, cut, formed, and machined easily with experienced workers. Norfolk Iron & Metal has multiple sizes available for all different types of projects.
